Choose Your Investment Option

Making an Investment Choice can be difficult.  Christian Super offers 5 different investment options, each with its own performance and risk profile.

When making an investment choice, you may want to consider the following questions:

  • How long do I have until retirement? (If you are approaching retirement, you may wish to consider an investment option with a lower risk profile).
  • How comfortable am I with the idea that, over short periods, my account balance may fluctuate? (If you are worried about negative returns, you may wish to select a more conservative option)
  • When I retire, do I intend to take my superannuation as a lump sum or as a pension? (If you are not intending to use your superannuation as a lump sum immediately following retirement, then you will probably be continuing to invest for a number of years after retirement).

Generally, the best choice is probably the one you are most comfortable with.  If you need help understanding investments, you may wish to look at How Investments Work.
