Financial Planning
It’s important to carefully consider your superannuation and how it relates to your retirement goals. We encourage you to exercise Christian financial stewardship over your retirement savings.
Choosing an Adviser
When choosing an adviser, you should first check and be comfortable with the person’s:
- Licensing, qualifications and experience - refer to the Financial Planning Association if necessary
- Independence and preferred products range (most will not include non-profit "industry" funds like Christian Super on their recommended list).
- Level of service (written reports, ongoing reviews).
- Fees and charges (Christian Super does not pay commissions)
Money Solutions
Christian Super is not licensed to give personal financial advice. To help our members exercise stewardship, we have formed a partnership with Money Solutions, a professional financial planning organisation. You may arrange to pay for their services from your Christian Super account. Money Solutions offer phone-based financial planning help, or face-to-face services in major centres around Australia. Why not call 1800 068 317 to speak to a financial planner, or check out their website at Money Solutions.
