How We’re Different
Christian Super is unique among superannuation funds!
As you should expect, many of our features - investment options and performance, insurance options and costs, fees, education, service and help - are competitive and modern, and we encourage you to compare us to your current superannuation arrangements
But on top of that we have a strong Christian commitment and focus that is hard to find in other superannuation funds. That is evident in a number of key areas - how we invest and how we serve - which allows our members and participating employers to align their choice of superannuation with their Christian principles and values.
Christian Management
We aim to operate and manage your superannuation along Biblical guidelines. Working within the principles set out in our Statement of Faith, our Board directors and National Office staff are all committed Christians from a diverse range of denominational backgrounds.
The CEO and all Board directors are very accessible should you ever need to "go to the top".
Ethical Investments
We manage all investments under our own Ethically Directed Investments Charter, guided by Psalm 24:1 "The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it."
Investing ethically is not just an option made available for our members to choose, rather it is a fundamental principle that covers all investment options and their underlying strategies. Go to our Ethical Investments Library to gain an insight to the way we approach our investment decisions from a Biblical perspective.
Serving Members In Need
Most members need help from time to time, and we aim to address your isssues professionally and efficiently. But we recognise that there are circumstances where Christian understanding and a compassionate approach are especially important.
That’s why our National Office senior staff take direct responsibility for the following critical member issues:
- Financial hardship applications
- Insurance claims for death or permanent disablement
- Member education and general advice
- Formal complaints or conflict resolution
