Jointly performed by the Baptist Union of Australia, Christian Education National, Christian Schools Australia and Churches of Christ in Australia, Christian Super’s Principal Sponsor is the nominal owner of the fund. This effectively means that the Principal Sponsor:
- Appoints half of the directors to the Trustee Board;
- Is a party to the Fund’s Trust Deed, and thus approves any changes;
- Holds the nominal shares of the Trustee company; but
- Does not receive any income, dividends or profits from the Fund.
