As a part of Christian Super’s responsible investment strategy, we seek to be active owners of our investments. Active ownership is the process of trying to positively influence the behaviours of companies, sectors, and governments through dialogue as an investor. This can be done through voting on resolutions at company meetings, making formal submissions to government, face-to-face meetings with company leaders, and so on.
Christian Super conducts engagements with companies in its’ investment universe on various ESG-related and ethical issues, both unilaterally and in collaboration with other investors. Collaborative engagements involve a group of investors coming together to address a specific area of concern and using their combined weight and voice to communicate these concerns to companies to push for change.
