Christian Super wins Impact Asset Owner of the Year

We are very excited to announce that Christian Super has just been awarded Impact Asset Owner of the Year in the 2020 Australian Impact Investment Awards.

Our CEO Ross Piper said:

“We are honoured to have the fund’s ongoing focus and practice in impact investing recognised with this award. For many years Christian Super has been a pioneer in impact investing, working hard to invest our members’ money in line with their values and beliefs. Our impact portfolio contributes to strong positive social and environmental impact in Australia and around the world, all whilst still delivering strong risk adjusted financial returns.”

Christian Super began impact investing in 2006 in response to feedback from members, who expressed a desire to invest not just in ways that avoid harm, but that actively promote human flourishing and creation care. The fund now has a diverse impact portfolio approaching 10% of total assets, that spans a variety of sectors and geographies. Further information is available in Christian Super’s inaugural Impact Report which was published a year ago.
