Easter reflection and our Easter traditions

To our valued members all around Australia,

As we journey through holy week, one of the traditions we have as a Christian Super team is to share in a time together of Easter reflection and remembrance. Recently we were privileged to have Lauren Taylor join us to lead a time of reflection. Lauren is World Vision’s National Director for Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza. Speaking from Jerusalem, Lauren shared a perspective on Easter from a complex part of the world. She spoke with conviction and vulnerability about leading from a place of faith in a context of incredible brokenness and conflict. Our team was deeply challenged and encouraged to hear Lauren’s reflection. We were reminded that even in the midst of darkness and life’s adversities or complexities, God remains sovereign. His grace, light and glory is always present.

At this time of Easter we offer all our members our prayers for hope, faith and courage to reflect God’s love and grace to all those around you. Be encouraged that even in the midst of darkness, challenges or struggle, the resurrection on Easter Sunday offers hope to all of us and to the world.

Christos Anesti! Alithos Anesti! (Christ is Risen, He is Risen Indeed!)

May God’s grace and peace be with you and your loved ones this Easter.
