Christian Super is proud to announce the commencement of our INNOVATE Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP). In INNOVATE, we will strive to bring to life new strategies and processes that will help support and engage with reconciliation in Australia.
At Christian Super our vision for reconciliation is an Australia that has made peace with First Nations peoples and their histories; a country that is moving forward by recognising and valuing Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and heritage as central to our nation’s diverse identity under God.
In support of this vision, our CEO, Ross Piper states,
“My conviction is that all Australians have a role to play in engaging in the journey of reconciliation, both in the places we work and in the individual lives we lead including the attitudes we hold and share. As a Christian organisation, we believe in the importance of embracing a posture of understanding, engagement and support for the issue of reconciliation.”
Our prayer and the hope that we strive for is a country that can deeply embrace truth and grace between the broader population and First Nations peoples, with a foundation based on the words of Amos 5:24:
“But let justice roll down like waters, righteousness like an ever-flowing stream.”
