Christian Super has once again been recognised as a responsible investment leader by the Responsible Investment Association Australasia (RIAA) in its 2021 Responsible Investment Benchmark Report.
This achievement reflects the Fund’s ongoing commitment to invest in a way that has a positive impact on society and the environment, while still delivering strong long-term risk adjusted financial returns for its members.
The Responsible Investment Benchmark Report 2021 is the most comprehensive review of the responsible investment sector in Australia. It defines responsible investment leaders as investment managers that achieved a score of 75% or more on RIAA’s Responsible Investment Scorecard.
Christian Super was one of only eight superannuation funds recognised, with a score that placed it in the top 12 out of the 198 investment managers that were assessed. The report shows that just over one quarter of investment managers are practising a leading approach to responsible investment, highlighting a continuing gap between investment managers that claim to be practising responsible investing and those that can demonstrate they actually are.
