Superannuation is a long-term investment but it’s nice to see the fruit of recent investment strategy changes, which were designed to deliver better returns relative to other super funds. Our My Ethical Super product was one of the top three performing growth funds in the 2021 calendar year!

Reasons for strong performance in 2021
We’ve made some changes to our investment strategy in recent years, to respond to changing economic and regulatory environments. We’ve also had a greater focus on trying to outperform peer super funds. What hasn’t changed is our commitment to biblically-based, responsible investing.
Our strong results in 2021 were driven by manager alpha (i.e. our investment managers delivering better results than their market benchmark) in certain asset classes such as equities and alternative assets, and our dynamic asset allocation (i.e. the proportion of different asset classes like shares and property that we invest in).
Super is a long-term investment, so we encourage people to look at longer timeframes. However, recent performance is important to consider since it most accurately reflects our current investment approach. You can view all of our investment returns here.
Past performance is not a guarantee of future performance.
